Art in the High Desert, the Pacific Northwest’s premier juried fine art and craft show, is thrilled to return to Riverbend Park in the heart of Bend, Oregon. Set against a stunning riverside backdrop, this nationally ranked show features some of the finest artists from across the United States and Canada in a one-of-a-kind celebration of original, handmade art.
With views of the Deschutes River, easy access, public amenities and close proximity to the shops and restaurants of the Old Mill District, Riverbend Park offers an exceptional setting to experience and purchase fine art directly from the artists who create it.
Art Is the Heart of the Show
At Art in the High Desert, fine art isn’t an add-on it’s the focus. Each year, a new panel of five jurors uses a blind jury process to select approximately 150 artists whose work exemplifies excellence in creativity, craftsmanship and originality. From painting and photography to ceramics, glass, sculpture and wearable art, every piece is handmade and one-of-a-kind.
This is a thoughtfully curated event no commercial booths, no mass-produced items, no distractions. Just a rich, immersive experience where the art speaks for itself. Whether you’re a longtime collector or making your first art acquisition, you’ll discover something truly meaningful and memorable.

Founded in 2008 by artists Dave and Carla Fox, Art in the High Desert continues to be led by a team of artists committed to upholding the show’s high standards and integrity. Now serving in emeritus roles, Dave and Carla’s vision remains the foundation of a juried event that evolves each year while staying rooted in a passion for fine art.
We do things differently. No flashy gimmicks, no corporate takeovers just serious art, presented directly by the artists themselves.
