BEAT, Quality Youth Theatre, Seeking Donations for Matching Gift Challenge

BEAT, a local non-profit children’s theatre program, is working on collecting donations for a  matching gift challenge fundraiser for the month of August.  As they enter their 10th season of providing high-quality theatre arts programming for young people in Central Oregon, BEAT is in demand and growing.

In response to its need to grow, two generous donors have stepped up and offered to match donations made to BEAT in the month of August up to $5,000.

BEAT offers main stage productions, Black Box productions, classes, workshops and summer camps for Central Oregon youth from ages 5-18. If you have seen, or participated in a BEAT show then you know they work hard to provide a creative, beautiful learning experience of live theater for our young artists and our audiences.

According to Director of Development Bree Beal, “We are struggling to keep up with the demand for our programs and are looking forward to providing even more opportunities in the future for the young people in our community – with your help.”

Go online today to www.beatonline.org and make a donation to help support BEAT.  If you donate by August 31 your dollars will be matched by our generous supporters.

You can follow the successes of our fundraiser with daily updates on their homepage. Check out the shows for the 2014-2015 season and watch our artists in action.
