Acclaimed flutist Timothy Hagen has been praised for his technical virtuosity, musical sensitivity, and flair. A laureate of several national and international competitions, he is Principal Flute of the Missouri Symphony and has performed with ensembles including the Minnesota Orchestra, Milwaukee Symphony, Oregon Symphony, and Grant Park Orchestra.

Hagen is Assistant Professor of Flute and Coordinator of Woodwinds at Central Washington University. He is also an award-winning composer, published scholar, conductor, and instructor for the online conservatory tonebase.

Joining Hagen is Central Oregon pianist Gary Ruppert, a classical and jazz performer and educator with more than 45 years of experience. His wide-ranging career has included orchestral appearances, musical theater, choral directing, and jazz performance. A former president of the Oregon Music Teachers Association and longtime college music faculty member and arts administrator, Ruppert has devoted his career to helping audiences deepen their understanding and appreciation of music.

Prineville Public Library

Featuring musicians from the Central Oregon Symphony, the Dove String Quartet presents an inviting blend of classical favorites and lighter, folk-inspired selections for listeners of all ages.
