hoodoo“This is our Sixth Annual chili cook-off and we invite the public to enter and come on up and spend the day,” said Hoodoo office manager Brynne Beverly. “People check in at 9:30 and judging starts at noon. After the judges sample the contestant’s food, the whole public is invited to come up and taste the leftovers. First place prize is $50 and a trophy; we’re always looking for new chili chefs. The bull gets here at 9:30am and runs until about 3pm. The rest of the afternoon is just a fun, relaxed Western atmosphere. Come and enjoy early spring skiing and we’ve got over a ten-foot base of amazing snow. Rodeo Day is free and perfect for the whole family. We invite all snowboarders, skiers, sledders and guests to dress up in wild western costumes and colorful cowboy gear and get up to the mountains and have a blast with us.”
