We’re thrilled to reveal Dennis McGregor’s 2023 Sisters Folk Festival poster, Moon Jam! The space-themed painting features a female astronaut carrying precious cargo and posing for an iPhone portrait in front of our beloved planet Earth.
The image fittingly depicts how Sisters Folk Festival stretches the boundaries of what people think of as “folk” and the impact of the music on us all.
With the poster comes the initial 16 artists featured in our 2023 lineup who will be performing at seven venues throughout downtown Sisters! As usual, the lineup features a diverse group of performers from all genres of roots music. From comedic singer-songwriter John Craigie to the Memphis-based soul blues ensemble, The Sensational Barnes Brothers, to five-piece bluegrass band The Way Down Wanderers, we’ve got something for everyone.
