Diane Gavino has been designing building stained glass windows, for many years. “I especially enjoy working with the wonderful colors textures of the many types of glass,” she says.
SunCatchers, WindCatchers ImageCatchers have proven to be the perfect gifts for the person who has everything as well as housewarmings, birthdays Christmas. “Many of my commission projects are a direct result of people seeing my work at galleries open markets around Oregon,” notes Gavino.
WindCatchers can be made out of glass saucers some of her clients bring in gr mothers saucers which gives the piece special meaning.
“I design build many special order stained glass pieces enjoy the client participation in the design of their piece as well as in the selection of glass colors textures,” continues Gavino. “One of my clients in Wyoming was a very active ‘long distant’ participant for which I built five large stained glass pieces for his home. I also designed built a series of very large sidelight pieces for a first class condominium facility at the Resort at the Mountain near Mt. Hood.
“My work now resides in many Oregon homes as well as throughout the Pacific Northwest beyond.”
