With both of our Griffith Park concerts sold out, we’ve added a third Los Angeles concert! Join pianist Hunter Noack at Bishop Canyon in Elysian Park for an evening of classical music outdoors.

For the 11th season, IN A LANDSCAPE: Classical Music in the Wild tours the American West. Mountain tops, old-growth forests, and sunny meadows replace the traditional concert hall in the series featuring USC Thornton School Alumni Hunter Noack on a 9-foot Steinway concert grand piano. Listen through wireless headphones and wander afield with the music as a soundtrack to your experience in the wild.

Established in 1886, Elysian Park was envisioned as a semi-wild oasis in a rapidly growing city. Today, Bishop Canyon in the northern region of the park offers a striking setting for IN A LANDSCAPE with views of the Los Angeles skyline.

Hunter’s nine-foot Steinway replaces the traditional concert stage, and wireless headphones let you wander while staying connected to the music. Find a place to settle in, explore your surroundings, and let the music become a soundtrack to your experience.
