Where’s the Fox? Check out Desert Dwellers Daily Talk

Our summertime slate of daily talks is back! From Wolves in the High Desert to the Otter Encounter, there’s plenty to experience. And they’re free with admission.

In addition, Gert the gray fox is now one of the animals who at times appears in the daily Desert Dwellers talk. Come by at 3:00 pm to meet species of the High Desert!

Juneteenth this Weekend

Bend’s third annual Juneteenth events are this coming weekend, and the Museum will be there! Living history interpreters will share diverse stories from the High Desert, and there will also be a singing performance. The aim of the two-day festival is to provide family-friendly, fun activities while elevating Juneteenth in the community.

The Juneteenth Celebration is being organized by The Father’s Group.
